安来の清水寺に家内の厄払いに行った。昨日行けば旧正月元旦の初詣となったが、節分の混雑を避けるため、今日にした。
参道のせせらぎは雪解け水で滝となっていた。

手洗いの水は冷たくて、正に清められそう。
石段を登ると、本堂の前で風格のある狛犬が迎えてくれます。
本堂の奥には山陰では唯一の三重塔があります。
本堂で厄払いの祈祷をしてもらったが、今日にしたお陰で、僅か二組でした。これなら、仏様も忘れずに、願いを聞いてくれそうな気がしました。
