支布佐神社 ― 2018/01/05
自宅から２ｋｍ以内の神社は全て回った気でいたが、一つ見落としたのに気付きました。隣の県の安来市吉佐にある支布佐（ｷﾌｻ）神社である。まず、立派な石段に吃驚！
石段の途中にある鳥居の手前にある手水鉢。
参道は短かく、直ぐに本殿が現れる。しかし、米子では見かけない社殿の造りである。御祭神は天穂日命（ｱﾒﾉﾎﾋ）。天照大神の第二子の天津神でありながら、大国主命に心服し家来になったと伝えられている。
拝殿は無く、門と本殿が連なっており、祭礼は門の屋根の下で行うのであろうか。
摂社は左に稲荷神社の他に三つ。
右に琴平神社の他に二つ。
この建物は倉庫でしょうか。神輿でも入っているのでしょうか
吉佐の部落の入口にはこんな説明書きがありました。神代の時代からいわれのある場所なのですね。
吉佐は車で通り過ぎるだけで、今回初めて歩いてみましたが、民家が大きく立派なのにビックリです。
注連縄も米子とは異なっていました。
