島根広島両県最高峰に登る ― 2016/10/13
秋の登山シーズン、最初に選んだのは島根広島両県の最高峰恐羅漢山。
我家を6時半に出て、10時に牛小屋高原登山口より登山開始。
11：50 恐羅漢山々頂（1,346ｍ）到着。予定より３０分近く遅れたので、旧羅漢山までの縦走は断念。
頂上から東側はよく開けて展望が利きました。写真中央の右側斜面が草に覆われた山はあす登る深入山。
宿に向かう途中、三段滝の上流部の渓谷を散策。写真は玉緒滝。
三段峡一番の見どころ三段滝。前兆130ｍにわたって滝が続きます。
三段滝のズームアップ。水量が多く豪快で何故、日本の滝百選に選ばれなかったのか解りません。
今宵の宿、いこいの村ひろしま。県営でしたが、この春より民間に委託されたそうです。人工温泉でしたがお風呂は最高でした。
